Old Man Logan: Most of the heroes in the marvel universe have been killed in a battle many years ago, leading to a downward spiral of crime and oppression in a land overwhelmed by super-villains. Logan and Hawkeye (two of the only remaining heroes) start traveling across country to deliver a secret package to the capital, Logan agreed only because he needs the money in order to pay rent for himself and his family. Along the way they encounter Peter Parker’s granddaughter fighting the new Kingpin, and Logan reveals what happened the day the heroes fell, and why he has renounced Wolverine ever since. Once they reach the capital, Logan is faced with the Red Skull (revealed to be responsible for the rise of the villains, now proclaiming himself president and adorning himself with Captain America’s blood stained uniform) and retains fighting his enemy without using his claws. Through a tragic turn of events, however, Logan is reluctantly pulled back into the role of Wolverine.
this is the most metal thing I have ever seen Marvel do. ever.
I looked this up and saw that Mark Millar wrote it and now I’m reading it. *reminds self to read Civil War*
Superman: Red Son is a great book also.
